Flourish Fitness in the Park This class is more than a breath of
fresh air. It is a combination of cardiovascular and resistance
training. Although modifications are offered for many fitness levels,
you should be able to walk at a moderately quick pace for this class.
Please contact us to register for this class or for more information.
Mommy & Me Yoga is basically a class for moms who don't want to
leave their babies and small children behind. The movement in this class
is geared to help moms get in shape and feel healthy, strong and
balanced. (Activities will be offered for young ones only if it will
help the class flow to keep the children more entertained. You may want
to bring toys or books to entertain your children. For those of you that
have taken "Baby & Me", this is not the same class. There will be very
limited games and songs.)
Yoga for
Pregnancy (pre & post-natal yoga) In this class, mothers-to-be in any stage of
pregnancy learn yoga postures and relaxation techniques to alleviate
the common discomforts of pregnancy and prepare for childbirth. New
mothers are also encouraged to return to this class as a great way
to transition back into a regular yoga practice after childbirth.
This is a very gentle yoga class, and no prior yoga experience is
needed. Get
Grounded Yoga (aka Happy Hips, Twists, and Forward Folds)
This mixed level class is offered to help you release tension
with hip openers and twists and will encourage you to dive into
forward folds to settle the mind, calm the body, and free your
spirit.
Intermediate Flow is a vigorous Vinyasa-style yoga class, in
which breath and movement are connected as students flow through the
poses. It incorporates Anusara alignment while keeping the tempo of
the class challenging. Less time is devoted to demonstration and
instruction of poses, so Intermediate Flow students should be
comfortable practicing at the Intermediate level or above.
Flourish Yoga is an Anusara inspired yoga class offered to help
you develop the greatest amount of harmony possible in your body and in
your life. This type of yoga is both active and strengthening as well as
relaxing and inspiring. Please bring your own yoga mat to class. Contact
Kate Noble if you need help finding a mat.
